Hardy annual with fine narrow green leaves and scaly heart shaped lockets turning from green to straw, at which point they start to rattle in the breeze. Can self-sow, best in full sun and moist well-drained soil.
Height: 45cm
Sow seed in situ or in containers in autumn or spring. Lightly cover seeds with a thin layer of fine grit. Prick out when large enough to handle.
