Hardy perennial with bowl-shaped yellow or orange flowers set off by fresh light green foliage from mid spring onwards. Deadhead to prolong flowering. Can self-sow, sun or part shade and moist well-drained soil.

Surface sow onto moist compost in containers outside in autumn to late winter. Lightly cover seeds with a thin layer of fine grit. Prick out when large enough to handle. Germination can be erratic.
