Hardy annual carrying hanging tassels of small, deep pink flowers from August to October. Can self-sow, best in sun and well-drained soil.

Sow outside onto moist compost in containers in autumn to early spring (seeds germinate better at a lower temperature 4-10°c). Lightly cover seeds with a thin layer of fine grit. Prick out when large enough to handle.
